Dinosaur Hunter Fossil Dessert Table

Calling all Dino Hunters! This dessert table is ROAR-tastic. I LOVE how it turned out. Touches of gold & bronze with a little kraft & khaki. It came together perfectly! Where to start!? How about the amazing center cake by Kathi of My Sweet Things. Kathi’s cakes are always amazing but this one has to be my favorite.  If you missed yesterday’s post, I chatted about my obsession with spray painting plastic toys. Gold Dinosaur = Best Cake Topper Ever.

I was so inspired by a couple of talented ladies dessert tables. The super talented ladies of Anders Ruff created this amazing dinosaur party and painted the awesome wooden fossil dinosaur skeletons. It was such a clever idea I wanted to include them on the dessert table. If you haven’t checked out Anders Ruff, I can’t say it enough – hop over and check them out. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! I was also inspired my sweet friend Gretchen of 3 Little Monkeys Studios. Gretchen was kind enough to send over her amazing Vintage Dinosaur Hunter printables. Her idea of hiding a fondant fossil topper on a cupcake was brilliant. Not only is Gretchen a talented designer she is one phenomenal party planner / stylist / crafter & blogger so don’t forget to hop over and check out her work.

Back to the desserts! I was so lucky to have my sweet friend Maria from Love and Sugar Kisses create amazing fossil chocolate covered oreos. She even added a little gold glitter for me because like his mama, my son is all about the glitter. HUGE thank you to Linda of Frog Prince who created the cutest dinosaur fossil cookies! I love how she gave the cookies a vintage look and even added a touch of gold. Now, let’s talk about these fondant cupcake toppers by Brittany of Edible Details. Can you believe how detailed they are. Fossils, magnifying glasses galore. They looked so perfect on top of the peanut butter cupcakes from Jilly’s Cupcakery.

I love to include a homemade dessert on my dessert tables. I don’t always have time to make every dessert although I love to bake! This time I made s’mores in a jar. The easiest dessert ever. Grab any mini little container, in this case I used mini ball jars. The bottom layer is crushed graham crackers {you can crush yourself or just by a box pre-crushed}, then goes chocolate pudding {in this case instant jello chocolate pudding} then top with mini marshmallows. If you have a crème brule torch you can torch the marshmallows a bit to give it that burnt look. Easy peasy! The dessert table also had store bought French Macarons from Trader Joes. If you don’t have time, energy or desire to make your own macs then TJ French Macarons are your solution. They are SO delicious & inexpensive! I always get an extra pack or two when I’m at TJ’s to keep on hand. Final dessert on this table is the rice crispy pops. Store bought rice crispy treats + straw with paper flag = dessert perfection. The kids loved this one and it literally took me 2 minutes to put together. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much to Jennifer of Quench my Heart for capturing all the beautiful details below! Enjoy all the Dino-tastic desserts below!

Dinosaur Hunter Fossil Birthday Party

ROAR! Sharing my munchkin’s Dino Hunter Party today!!! Last year my little man was obsessed with Dinosaurs and said he wanted to be a “fossil searcher” when he grew up. After seeing Gretchen’s amazing Dino Hunter Party {of 3 Little Monkey Studios} I knew that a Dino Hunter party was definatley in the cards. I wanted to stick with a neutral color pallet with some touches of gold {and lots of gold & bronze dinosaurs}. I just have to say plastic animals look so much cooler after a coat of spray paint! Ha.

Backing up a second to talk about the amazing printables by Gretchen. I can’t say enough about how awesome her printables are – from invitations, to banners, to activity page, to bottle labels, putting together this party was a breeze! Gretchen was even sweet enough to send me her fossil kit from her son’s Dinosaur party. The kids really enjoyed learning about the fossils and they couldn’t believe that some of the fossils were that old. The activity worksheet also kept them busy in between activities. The kids also really enjoyed the dino dig activity – a kit comes complete with a hammer, a chisel, brush and the dinosaur toy in a sand block. I repackaged them in kraft bio containers from Shop Sweet Lulu and finished them off with a dino hunter label. Just be warned this activity is a little messy and time consuming to dig out all the little pieces but the kids just loved it!!!!

The favor table was my favorite. I just loved how the mini mason jar favors turned out. Simply glue a plastic dinosaur to the lid & spray paint with your favorite color. I would use a stronger glue than hot glue because the dinos come of easily when using hot glue. These favor jars can be used for any theme, I’m actually making some for an upcoming safari baby shower. The favor table also included chocolate bars complete with a dino wrapper, diy linen bags filled with salt water taffy and of course kids got to take home their own dinosaurs.

Finally, let’s talk about the amazing burlap wreath! Bethany from Sweet Georgia Sweet was kind enough to send over a burlap garland & a burlap wreath complete with a gold dinosaur. I added a little straw flag from the printables to tie it all in but I just love this wreath. Thank you so much Bethany!

Huge huge huge thank you to my sweet friend Jennifer of Quench My Heart Photography who popped over to take some amazing pictures. Enjoy the pictures below & tomorrow it’s all about Dino Desserts! Roooooar!!

Tomorrow, it’s ALL about Dino-tastic Desserts. Check out this adorable peek at the cookies by Linda of Frog Prince! Can’t wait to share tomorrow.

Sweet as Pie Dessert Table

Desserts make me happy. Super giddy, crazy happy so I’m beyond thrilled to share this Sweet as Pie dessert table with y’all today! If you missed part 1 of the Sweet as Pie party click here to check it out.

There is always room for pie. Especially Key Lime Pie. This dessert table had so many pies to choose from: Key Lime, Peanut Butter Pie, Southern Pecan, Mini Berry Pies, Chocolate Cream, Banana Cream, Lemon Meringue and Turtle Pie. Lots of pie! How do you pick your favorite two or three flavors!? I couldn’t narrow down the list so I decided to get lots of different kinds of store bought pies versus going with only a couple of bakery pies. I’m so happy I opted with the store bought pies. They were yummy and everyone loved taking home slices of pie!

What’s a birthday without cake? Even though the focus was on pie, I couldn’t neglect cupcakes, sugar cookies and cake! The gorgeous water color strawberry cake was created by Cakes by Darcy. It was so beautiful and delicious! I love strawberry cake. On top of the cake was an adorable little fondant slice of pie created by Edible Details. She also made assorted watercolor cupcake toppers. I just adore Brittany’s work.  Kathi from My Sweet Things created the prettiest ruffle smash cakes ever!!! Two little cakes in shades of pink and shades of blue, I loved having two smash cakes {one for the party date and one for the day after which was her actual 1st birthday}.

Let’s talk about these sugar cookies!!! SO many sugar cookies! My amazing friend Sandy from Firefly Confections is the best. Not only did she come up with the Pie theme but was the best brainstormer ever. I just adore her. I’m so honored to be one of the few people she makes cookies for. She created the most intricate water color sugar cookies that matched the invitations. I can’t believe that she can write that small with royal icing no less. She also made adorable sugar cookie pies and slices of pie. Just darling.

What I love about creating dessert tables is getting the opportunity to work with amazing vendors. I was thrilled to work with Melissa of The Baked Equation to create a glittery pie-tastic set of cookies. She is beyond talented!!! These cookies were so pretty that at one point I was sad that they were going to get eaten. Especially the one with hand painted flowers.

If you are craving pies, cookies and cake just reading this then wait till you check out the pretty pictures below! Detailed vendor information is below. Stay tuned, next week I’ll be sharing a quick little DIY how to create your own glittered candles.

Sweet as Pie 1st Birthday Party

SO excited to share my sweet baby girl’s first birthday today! And guess what!? I posted it in less than a year! I’m totally on a roll people. I just can’t believe a whole year has gone by and my baby girl is 1. For me the first year is the toughest, sleepless nights, nursing, teething, and just trying to figure out how to split yourself 3 ways. Now that the first year is over, it’s totally bittersweet, she’s now a sassy little toddler! I digress. Back to the topic at hand, the 1st birthday.

I have to send a big huge Thank You to Sandy from Firefly Confections & Fan Girls Cook. She suggested a Pie themed birthday and it was totally the perfect theme {plus created the most amazing pie shaped cookies & watercolor cookies for the dessert & favor tables}. ! I’m a huge pie addict, well dessert addict in general and I’ve been wanting to do a pie bar for while. Plus my baby is really as Sweet as Pie! For the colors, I wanted shades of pink with pops of blue & gold, gold, gold {naturally}. Added a few watercolor touches because well, I love watercolor everything and thought “I haven’t seen watercolor and pie and gold together” #winning.

Huge, huge, huge Thank You to my sweet friend Teresa. She sanded, painted and lugged over the gorgeous vintage cabinet that I used for Ally’s Pie Shoppe desserts. She also brought over the cutest vintage wooden high chair we used for the cake smash. Love you T!

Even though it was a 1st birthday, I had a lot of older kiddos so I created a little Shoppe Table where the kiddos can sit down and take Pie Shoppe orders. Yup, there is a gold Tee-Pee. Why!? Why not. Doesn’t exactly scream pie shoppe but it is the most adorable gold Tee-Pee from the Land of Nod so I just had to throw it in. The kiddos also kept busy at the craft station. I always have a little craft station at my parties because {secretly or not so secretly} everyone loves to craft. I wanted to pick a craft that would appeal to all ages, even adults: DIY Pie Plates. Grab some dollar store plates, mugs and oil based sharpies and you have a cute little keep sake to take home. I also printed off personalized sweets coloring pages from the talented Paper Glitter.

I almost always create a little favor table separate from the dessert table. I will be talking all about the gorgeous Pie Dessert Table in tomorrow’s post. So much to share that I had to give it a separate post! For this favor table backdrop, I created lots and lots of gold paper rosettes and glued them onto a board. The “Aaliyah” wooden sign was the perfect accent! Made by Lauren from Ten 23 Designs. I just LOVE working with her. She creates the most incredible custom decor items. She also made the “Sweet as Pie” Sign hanging above the dessert table. Love both of these signs so much they are hanging in Ally’s bedroom. The sequin table linen from Candy Crush Shop just makes my knees weak. I just love their sequin table clothes so very much and you will almost always spot a Candy Crush Shop sequin linen at one of my parties. Don’t you just love the beautiful white & gold chevron sequin table runners!? They are my new favorite. Kiddos went home with a little linen baggie with crayons, bubbles, chocolate, a sugar cookie and gumballs. They also got to fill a box with assorted sweets and pies.

For Aaliyah’s Smash Cake backdrop, I wanted to keep is simple. Gold fringe curtains & a light up marquee banner were just perfect and it’s super easy to do. It also made the perfect “photo booth”. I had a vase of wooden mustaches & silly wooden glasses near by. You can find the DIY Marquee lights {from Hedi Swapp} from Michael’s Craft Store. Love how easy they are and how customizable they are.

I feel blessed that I get to work with the most amazing vendors!!!! I love and respect all of these amazing party people. A lot more Thank You’s & Vendor Information down below! I hope you enjoy Aaliyah’s 1st “Sweet as Pie” Birthday and oh so adorable pictures of my little girl!

Where do I start!? Let’s start with the Birthday Girl’s outfit! HUGE HUGE HUGE Thank You to Krystal from Atutudes who created the most amazing, fluffy, pink tutu! She looked so darling in it and I know she is going to wear it a lot over the next year. Her white Pie Applique shirt was made with love by Barbie of Sweet Pea A La Mode. I just love the adorable pie on her shirt. It’s the cutest! Aaliyah’s bloomers, birthday crown and bib are from Mud Pie.

Love the girls over at Petite Party Studio! Wish I totally lived in there city just to visit their adorable little Party Shoppe. They were so so so very sweet and sent over the adorable felt ball garland that I used to decorate the Tee-Pee. Fringe garlands, gold plates & cups, gumball tubes, so many sweet items to make your party perfect. I hope I get a chance to meet them soon.

Huge thank you to Mandy from Waiting on Martha who sent over lots of fringe garland kits from The Flair Exchange. The shades of pink and blue were just adorable. Large balloons and fringe garlands are my favorite. You are the best Mandy!

Switching gears to talk about my little tablescapes. Don’t you just LOVE the kid’s place settings?! Custom wooden spoons by Sucre Shop are just everything. So true, there is always room for pie and these pie forks and spoons were a must. I am obsessed with these gold foiled napkins from Shop Sweet Lulu. I adore her store – from milk bottles to gold “for you darling” paper treat bags, so many items to pretty up your party. If you squint you can see the glittery handmade stuffed pies. Took many a night to cut and hand stich these adorable little pie pillows but so worth it!

Last year, my sweet friend Rebekkah from A Blissful Nest sent over a custom acrylic tray for Aaliyah’s room. I used it for Ally’s welcome baby party but didn’t get a cute picture of the tray. The tray is SO gorgeous, I couldn’t resist using it again. Strawberry milk served on the tray were just the cutest. So glad I have a cute picture of it! Thank you so much Rebekkah!

Let’s talk about these two cakes!!! Aaliyah’s adorable little smash cakes were made by Kathi of My Sweet Things. Ally totally went to town on her smash cake. She looked so cute digging into her cake. The huge watercolor birthday cake was created by Cakes by Darcy & topped with a gold pie from Edible Details. So much to talk about but I really want to talk all about desserts tomorrow. So here’s a teaser of tomorrow’s dessert. Can’t wait to cover every darling detail.

Welcome Baby Sip n See

A little over a year ago our family welcomed our sweet little Aaliyah Isabelle. Getting adjusted to being a family of five took a little time, okay it took a lot of time – like a year or so! I’ve finally gotten into the swing of things, updated the blog and plan on sharing a lot of the past years events & crafts that I haven’t had a chance to share. Before I can share Ally’s 1st birthday party, I should probably share her Welcome Baby party (Sip-n-See for ya’ll in the South).

I fell in love with the “Come one, Come all” theme from Loralee Lewis and thought Circus / Carnival would be the cutest theme ever for our sweet baby girl party. If you haven’t checked out LL’s store, you are missing out. She is beyond talented and the sweetest person ever. So happy I was able to work with her on such a special event.

I went with all things pink for my baby girl’s party. After two boys, no amount of pink is too much. “Are you sure you want so much pink?” …um “yes, I’m sure”. Since I’m obsessed with all things gold, obviously spray painted Circus animals were a must. {Tip: Michael’s Craft Store has lots of little adorable & nicely priced plastic animals that look fab after a spritz of gold spray paint}.

I just love how the dessert table turned out. Featuring gorgeous pink candy apples from the one and only Roni’s Sugar Creations & beautiful pink & gold sequin linen from Crush Candy Shop, this party has to be one of my favorites. Obviously, I’m biased! I love the adorable elephant cookies made by my sweet friend Deb of Yummy Delicious Cookies & the stunning cake by Kathi from My Sweet Things! Can you believe the chocolate covered oreos?! Maria from Love & Sugar Kisses created the most adorable pink circus glittery goodness ever. I hope you enjoy all the eye candy. Pop down to the bottom for the full list of vendors. Thank you Lauren Nicole Studios for capturing such beautiful images!Sip-n-see-0139

Trick or Treat! A Kid Friendly Halloween

Hey Last Minute Mama’s!!! This October has been a whirlwind hasn’t it? Between family fall fun activities and life, I feel like this has been one crazy month. So here’s some last minute inspiration for you and your little ones. In classic Halloween Orange & Black {Orange is after all the new black}. Super simple & easy to recreate with what you have at home. I absolutely love that this whole theme was inspired by a single roll of Trick or Treat ribbon from Michaels! Love it!

Last minute mama random thoughts & tips: don’t have fabric table runner? No problem, a roll of fun wrapping paper will make the perfect runner. No time to bake cookies?! Neither did I! Loved using this cookie decorating kit from Target, complete with sprinkles & frosting. One more last minute decorating tip: pumpkins are the perfect decor item. Mini pumpkins are fab. Not only are they inexpensive but they are everywhere. You can use them to decorate kids table or as a craft activity {just add glitter glue & googly eyes}.

Hope I’ve inspired you all have a fun lil’ Orange and Black! PS: Vendor Credits & Pin-able collages below.

The Lego Movie Birthday Party

Deliciously Darling | The Lego Movie | Birthday Party |

My son is Lego obsessed. All day, every day – Legos, Legos, Legos. After watching The Lego Movie he knew he wanted it as his birthday theme. This year we kept it simple but just as awesome! Enjoy the pictures and check out the details below.

Normally mama goes all out for Malik’s birthday party, but this year was different. We had a new baby and so it had to be an easier party to put together. Throwing a party, however small is a challenge with a 5 week old and two big brothers! Thankfully, my sweet cousin Reema was there to help me bake & set up.

Malik really wanted to have his party at Lego Land Discovery Center. Having a party out of the house is definitely easier but I didn’t want it to loose that personal touch that at home parties have. Working within their rules, I was able to come up with a fun and creative The Lego Movie inspired party.

The party room was so colorful. The tables and chairs were in bright colors so I didn’t need to add much. I opted for paper table runners. I love Targets party section. There are these rolls of wrapping paper that are $1.50 each. They are the perfect width for a table runner and come in fun colors and patterns. I used the orange diagonal  stripe paper for the tables.

I made simple center pieces using gumballs and yellow ceramic berry baskets. I added a homemade paper “Emmett” holding a flag that said “Happy Birthday Malik”. I would have loved to add some colorful balloons but balloons were not allowed in the party room.

I made lego men decals out of red glitter vinyl and put them on cute little milk bottles that I purchased from the Petite Party Studio shop. I also got the cool red plates from there. The red stripe wooden forks were from The Sucre Shop. I adore their wooden cutlery!

Finally, I added a crinkle taffeta chair sash to each chair. I have a box of chair sashes from parties past and thought, “why not”?!

The Lego Discovery Center staff was so amazing. They let me set up a little mini dessert table. The most challenging part was to keep things simple. Simple desserts and super simple decor.

In the spirit of simplicity. I made only a handful of desserts. My cousin made the delicious French vanilla cupcakes topped with chocolate lego bricks. Chocolate covered marshmallows with mini chocolate lego figures, jello cups with chocolate lego figures and amazing Lego Movie sugar cookies {made by the always awesome Sandy from Firefly Confections}. Just to let you know how much I adore Sandy because she sends me texts like “I only work in black and sometimes very very dark grey”.  LOL. I heart her!

The blue butter cream cake was made by My Sweet Things. I know, swirls for a boy but I think it works so well. Malik really wanted a blue cake this year. I topped the cake with two lego movie character plastic figures {they are actually pens so “yay” for an added bonus of being useful} and a little Happy Birthday flag.

I’m a firm believer in useful favors. Each kid took home a personalized beach bucket filled with goodies. A Lego Movie sketch / sticker book, homemade lego crayons, a Lego Movie mini figure, and a pencil. I wish I was the genius who thought of the homemade lego crayons – that honor goes to Anders Ruff. They have an awesome tutorial on their site if you want to learn how to make them yourself. Warning, making lego crayons is totally addictive. I had plans on making only a few colors and that morphed into 6 colors.

I hope you enjoyed our “Everything is Awesome” Lego Movie party inspiration! Spaceships, Spaceships, Spaceships!!!

Red, White and Blue Desserts

If you are anything like me, when it comes to Holiday meal planning the first thing I think of is desserts. With a name like Deliciously Darling it’s not surprising. Here are a few of my go-to’s for 4th of July. Berry Trifle – super easy to do: pound cake, fresh whipped cream and berries. French Macarons, I know aren’t very 4th of July but when colored blue I think they fit beautiful! Finally star sugar cookies.

The Great Bambino Predicts Gender Reveal Party

Hello Loves! I has literally been forever!!!!! Life has definitely gotten in the way of blogging. Let me fill you in…

Last June I was happily blogging. In July we discovered that I was expecting a baby. Long story short. It was an extremely exhausting pregnancy and my two boys didn’t take it easy on their expecting mama. I decided to put my passion aside to focus on my family and growing a cute baby. Many months pass and our little one arrives and I’m finally ready to get back into the swing of things.

That being said, it’s totally impossible for me not make it through a pregnancy and not throw a party or two! So ready to share them with you all.  First up is my Gender Reveal party. I love the idea of a gender reveal party. I know it’s the trendy thing to do at the moment but it is such a fun way to share your baby joy with your friends and family. I must have sat for weeks thinking about what theme will be. Off the beaten path, I decided on a Fortune Teller theme. But what to call my amazing talented Fortune Teller? The Great Bambino of course! Check out the gorgeous pictures & details below:

Fortune-Teller-Gender-Reveal-5Fortune-Teller-Gender-Reveal-9Fortune-Teller-Gender-Reveal-6 Fortune-Teller-Gender-Reveal-18

Graphics & Printables

When I started planning this gender reveal, I knew I wanted the party to have a vintage feel and remind me of the old school fortune teller machines (a la Zoltar in the movie Big). I asked Gretchen from Three Little Monkey Studio to create the printables and asked Kori from Kori Clark Design to create the illustrations. Gretchen is absolutely awesome. I love her design style (and parties). She has this ability to take a bunch of my rambling ideas and create the most amazing printables and Mrs. Kori is beyond words. I just love that I requested a “Zoltar-esque” Fortune teller graphic and she made the most awesome dude! Seriously talented. I’m so very fortunate that I got the chance to meet both these amazing ladies!

Dessert Table

Where to start!? How about with the beautiful table cover? Thank you to Jeanette from The Candy Crush shop. She sent over her beautiful gold sequin linen. I just love it. Desserts included, gender reveal cake, chocolate covered oreos, whoopie pies, homemade french macarons, oreo parfaits, sugar cookies and cupcakes. The Gender Reveal cake was created by Kathi from My Sweet Things – isn’t it just gorgeous. The Brown Sugar Caramel Cupcakes were made by Chris from Ratio Bake Shop. I have to say, hands down, these are the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. Chris is a phenomenal pastry chef & baker. The sugar cookies were made by my sweet friend Deb from Yummy Delicious Cookies. I just love the gold question mark cookies.

For the backdrop I used an old gold frame that I have and layered natural linen fabric behind it to appear curtain-like. I made the awesome “Bambino” marquee out of mache boxes, tons of gold glitter & christmas lights. I have to thank Gretchen for this incredible idea. She was sweet enough to share some of her tips in making the marquee letters. I also added some black and gold signage. Love how “The Great Bambino Predicts… Boy or Girl” backdrop turned out.

Champagne Bar

Pop the champagne! I love the idea of a champagne bar, even at a baby shower or gender reveal. Some of my tips to a cute champagne display: Custom Glasses, Glittery items and custom straws.  I jazzed up plastic champagne flutes with vinyl question marks. Used glitter wrapping paper as the runner and added glitter to the sign frame. Finally, adorable paper straws with Baby’s Future Prediction Flags. I love that Gretchen created straw flags that say things like “Future Donut Tycoon” and “Roller Coaster Tester”. I love little detailed touches and this is one that I really loved.

Guessing Table & Favors

Part of a hosting a gender reveal is having guests vote / guess the baby’s gender. This was my favorite part of the night. My guests each grabbed a ticket. I love how the tickets were so personalized – Gretchen did an amazing job. Our friends circled their predictions and placed them in The Great Bambino’s bowl. {Side Note: Vinyl is my new favorite craft item. I used it to make a question mark to jazz up an old candy bowl}. At the end of the night we tallied up the votes and cut the cake to reveal the gender.

The guessing table also displayed a few sweet treats for guests to take home.  Guests got to take home gumballs, Hershey’s kisses and chocolate cigars (and lots of desserts). Huge thank you to Jeanette from the Candy Crush Shop for sending over gumball favors and chevron treat bags.

Now the big reveal! The Great Bambino Predicts… It’s a Girl!

Wreck-it Ralph Party – Sugar Rush Dessert Table {Part 2}

Wreck it Ralph Party | #deliciouslydarling #wreckitralph #desserts

Whooho for Part 2! Sharing the rest of our super awesome Wreck-it Ralph party today. The Sugar Rush dessert table. Side note, here’s part 1 of the Wreck-it Ralph party.

For those of you who haven’t watched Wreck-it Ralph, Sugar Rush Speedway is a racing game but based in a land where everything and pretty much everyone is made of sweets. That’s my kind of game! I tried to recreate the feel of the race. From the paper lollipops and candy in the grandstands to the awesome little race cars. In the Sugar Rush clouds are actually cotton candy clouds, donuts are police men and oreos are solders that guard King Candy.

I hope you enjoy my take on a Sugar Rush dessert table. Details & Vendor info below.

Dessert Table Details

I am so fortunate to work with an amazing group of vendors – seriously amazing. Their work literally floors me. So let’s start with the cake! I found a gorgeous picture of a rainbow petal cake on pinterest & sent it to my sweet & uber talented butter-cream friend Kathi from My Sweet Things. Not only are Kathi’s cakes a work of art, they are incredibly delicious and the only cake my kids request for their birthdays. Kathi whipped up this beautiful rainbow petal cake.

My son, Jad, also requested a Ralph sitting on top of his cake. Maria from Love & Sugar Kisses created the most amazing fondant Ralph! He looks absolutely perfect sitting on top of that rainbow cake holding a little pie. Maria is so talented. I just love her. She also created those yummy gold chocolate covered oreos with Wreck-it Ralph characters on top. Ins’t Fix-it Felix so cute? On a side note, I have to set aside one chocolate covered oreo for mama to enjoy the day after the party with my coffee. Yum.

Don’t you just love the Ralph inspired Fondant toppers by Lynlee’s Petite Cake? I am so grateful that Lynlee took time out of her super busy schedule {if you didn’t know she’s working on her first book, can’t wait to get my hands on it!} to create these cupcake toppers which featured: Sonic, Ralph, Vanellope, Cherries, Sour Bill, Qubert and lots of other Ralph-tastic movie icons. Brittany, from Edible Details created the most amazing fondant hero medals, hammers & humongous pies! I just love how real her toppers look. The detail on the medals is incredible!

Let’s take a minute to talk about the Sugar Racers Sugar Cookies by Sandy of Firefly Confections. Seriously Amazeballs! The detail on her cookies is astounding. So intricate and such a work of art, I literally have a hard time eating her cookies. Not because they aren’t super delicious it’s because they are so incredible, too pretty to eat.

The darling “You’re My Hero” Sugar cookies were created by Deb from Yummy Delicious Cookies. Deb is so so so sweet and her cookies are beyond delicious. My kids {and I} just love them.

My sweet friend Stacy from She’s Kinda Crafty added some awesome to the Sugar Rush Dessert table. She created the “Start / Finish” Line. I just LOVE the glitter card stock and was honored she said she added the glitter just for me. Giggle, she knows me well. Glitter makes everything better. The race cars look so good on the yellow felt racetrack next to the starting line!

In addition to all the above the dessert table also included: rainbow jello, oreo cheesecakes and cotton candy cupcakes. So what’s my favorite part of this dessert table? I have to say it’s the paper oreo’s protecting the chocolate covered oreos. I swear, sometimes I only do things to make myself laugh and I found this hysterical.

As always, thank you thank you thank you to my incredible photographer & friend Lauren. She captures everything so perfectly and makes me look good. Thank you Lauren!
